Summary
“Hyung needs something,” Kei whispers with far too much intensity. He clears his throat, trying to sound more confident than he feels. “I need something from you.”
Taki nods too fast, already agreeing before hearing what it could be. “I’ll—anything. What is it?”
If the roles were reversed, this is the part where Taki would be honest. He would tell Kei exactly what he needs and beg for it, despite Kei not asking him to. He’d grovel and plead and almost demand Kei to help him. Kei would give in, because there’s no universe where he wouldn’t.
Meanwhile in this reality, Kei bites his tongue. He’s staring at Taki like he’s trying to pull him apart. He still feels like he’s in fight-or-flight mode, however. Taki can sense it, because his grip on Kei’s waist loosens. He’s always been able to read Kei better than anyone else.
“Kei-hyung, what do you need?” Taki asks, tilting his head even closer.
Kei needs far too much to put into words. He wants even more than that.
Kei demands control—craves it. Would the world end and the sky fall if he just gave it up for a single moment? His restless heart tells him it would, but the way Taki looks at him says otherwise.

Summary
There was a time when Euijoo used to have things under control; when he was less transparent and more composed. He’s always found Nicholas to be breathtakingly beautiful—but it was easier to look at him, back then.
Now, Euijoo fears looking at Nicholas for too long because he knows exactly what will be written on his face when he looks back: total and utter devotion.
