    Such a great series! In this AU, the vikings are fearful of Jack when Hiccup tells them about their first meeting so they create a shrine for him and hail him as a "god." It's super cute, I love how everyone's written here; how they're all apprehensive and afraid of Jack at first, but eventually warm up to him and trust him comletely. Berk pretty much ends up adopting him, and Hiccup is SOSO IN LOVE!!!

    AMAZING FIC!! SO CUTE!!!! I love how charmed Hoccup is by Jack and how they love each other here. Toothless is such a bastard for his formal introduction, I was scared for Jack lol

    so. stinking cute. friends to lovers. hiccup is an absolute mess and jack loves this loser.

    jack is SOSO loved by everyone here!! makes my heart all warm and fuzzy. i love the concept of everyone in Berk hailing him as an almighty god to worship before eventually just adopting him.

    hi guys this is amazing pls give it a read. they write the characters SOSO well-- u don't even need to have watched the HTTYD series to understand the fic lol it's THAT good. it's an actual slowburn.... as of the recent chapters , hiccup and jack have mutual feelings for one another, but they don't know that they like each other romantically. they think they're bffs LOLLLL

    It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.

    Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.
