Wooyoung’s eyebrows rose without his wanting them to. It wasn’t unusual for the bar to get bosses or CEOs, or even high-profile clients in general, but usually they were here with their employees or with other businessmen looking to make deals over bottles of soju. And they usually didn’t introduce themselves so outright. He tried to smooth his expression back out, giving his name out of politeness alone. “Wooyoung.”
“I have a proposal for you, Wooyoung-ssi.” The man said.

Summary
So here he was now, standing in the apartment they shared, with Wooyoung’s dream fulfilled and his lover transformed.
With a vampire fledgling on his hands.
“I’ve told you how many times now,” San said, crossing his arms over his chest as he stared at Wooyoung’s furrowed brows and narrowed eyes, “that you can’t sink your fangs into everything you come across?”
He gestured toward the couch. “The last time I checked, our sofa doesn’t have blood in it.”
In response, San heard something that could only be described as a quiet growl—if vampires were even capable of making such sounds. It reminded him painfully of an annoyed cat, cornered and offended, refusing to admit guilt. San raised an eyebrow, only to be met with Wooyoung squinting even harder, looking exactly like a kitten caught chewing on forbidden cables and daring its owner to scold it again.
His love.
And, unfortunately, his responsibility.

San’s brow furrowed, citrus flaring but held in check, and he opened his mouth. Wooyoung cut him off.
“You don’t get to act like you still know me. Like you have any right to call me your—” He swallowed hard, the word too heavy for the air, “—like you have any right to call me anything at all after leaving me alone when I was just nineteen and you were my world, my family, or so I thought. Do you have any idea of how I felt when my long time boyfriend just left me all alone like I didn’t even deserve a goodbye. How used I felt after that! Do you have any idea of how I feel right now?”

Seven years after a nasty break-up and years of silence, Wooyoung and San meets again, forced to work together. What happens when resentment and secrets collide? Will San be able to be forgiven, will his secrets be excused? Will Wooyoung open his heart to him again?

Wooyoung, deity of yarrow flowers, gets promoted unexpectedly after the major gods wiped themselves out in what they called the Last War. But the pressure of his new responsibility as the god of seasons is too much for him to handle, so when the chance presents itself to escape to the Underworld, he takes it without looking back - and without thinking about the consequences.
San, god of the dead, seems equally lonely. So he takes in the strange god wandering into his realm. But unlike his other subjects, Wooyoung isn't controlled easily. A challenge more than welcome to San.
