“Waverly this is Nicole Haught. She is going to be your new wife.” The pen falls from her hand and as soon as it hits the ground all the air leaves her body like she’s been kicked in the stomach by the world’s largest Clydesdale. It’s not enough that her confusion and disbelief emits in the surrounding air and clings to her skin like sweat. But then, for the full thirty seconds it takes her to fumble around for that pen at her feet her heart stops beating altogether.
In an attempt to earn enough money to pay her college tuition, Waverly agrees to marry a random stranger and participate in a reality TV show based on newly married couples, only the random stranger isn't so random and not so much a stranger.

As soon as Nicole closed her front door the smell of a delicious home cooked meal hit her nostrils. She could get used to this. Not this as in Waverly cooking for her even though Waverly was a magnificent cook, but this as in coming home and knowing that her girlfriend would be here or would be coming here after work. She took off her coat and boots and quickly walked over to the kitchen, a smile on her face, happy to see her girlfriend. However when she made it to the kitchen she found it empty.

She’s gentle and slow about it and Waverly snaps her own mouth shut when she realizes that she’s gawking at the stylist like she’s a piece of meat. Nicole continues to take her time, hoping it’s not super obvious that she has no idea what she’s going to do next.
“Bangs,” Waverly decides suddenly.
“Bang?” Nicole looks up sharply.
I took a silly idea about a hair salon and turned it into a fluffy-to-smutty WayHaught fic. Don't be mad at me.
