For once, Cecil found himself with minimal to do. The world stopped begging for his attention every 10 minutes, and now he finally has the privilege of chatting with a long time 'friend'.
Both Cecil and Donald were awake into the dead of night, still at work. The GDA director suggests they take a walk and talk- no destination in particular, no topic in specific. Their connection, history and bond have never been more clear. They're a little more touchy and sentimental than usual, but that's how platonic friendships work, obviously.
