Rodney McKay knows he's the smartest person in two galaxies because he now lives and works in that second galaxy. He works in the fabled city of Atlantis. Atlantis kinda likes him. Aliens, mostly the ugly ones, the really butt ugly ones, want him dead or want to eat him.
He regularly saves his team mates, the lives of the expedition, the city, the planet, the galaxy because he is just that smart people! It needs repeating. He is the SMARTEST person in two galaxies.But his fortieth birthday is the catalyst for life changes that totally and completely freak him out.
Rodney McKay is 40 years old when the following issues are brought to his attention:
a) he is gay
b) he's adopted.
c) did he mention the gay word and that it apparently runs in the family. The one he never knew because he was adopted?
d)his baby brother is Tony Stark
e)his baby brother is TONY STARK
f) HIS BABY BROTHER IS TONY FUCKING STARK
g) TONY STARK, his baby brother, has an Alien God for a Soul Mate. A MALE Alien God
h) Finally return to a) and repeat sequence.Rodney McKay wants to know how this is his life?

Summary
John Sheppard's life is turned upside down when he turns sixteen. It's also not so great for Rodney McKay either. In a world where some people are matched by genetics John and Rodney learn that love and family isn't always enough to keep someone happy and sometimes you have to change the world to get what you want.
*PLEASE NOTE that this story is AU so it is a world that does NOT conform to ours. All references to underage sex is between two teenagers and not an adult and teenager.
