Maybe it was the dismay of taking a train then walking twenty-five minutes to reach the only café in the city that makes a good fucking hot chocolate, only to realize it shut down two weeks ago. Maybe it was the seasonal atmosphere—all glittering lights, festivals and street markets, and his friends telling him to lighten up because it was the holidays.
Or maybe it was the way Shouto had suggested they go out to find a new place, so earnest it was hard to counter.

They’ve got a good thing going here.
Katsuki moved in with Shouto right out of high school, they’re both killing it as heroes, and most importantly, they’ve got this roommate thing down to a science.
It’s not that Katsuki can’t stand being without him, but maybe things are just better when Shouto’s around, and they’re good together, like all decent roommates should be.
So on the rare occasion that he’s gone, it’s pretty fucking awful, and now it looks like Katsuki might be approaching a future where Shouto doesn’t want to be here at all, and it’s Katsuki’s own fault.
If only he knew what he did to piss him off like this.

Shouto and Katsuki finally got together in their third year, and as they near the 4 month mark of their relationship, everything is going great. They’ve been keeping it to themselves for now and it was a mutual decision. Shouto doesn’t want to deal with his father unless he’s sure this is gonna last and Katsuki doesn’t like being open about his feelings, anyway. So it doesn’t bother him.
Well, except for when those stupid fucking underclassmen think they have a snowball’s chance in hell with Shouto. He might just go crazy if those dumbfucks continue. And he does.
