Summary
Steve felt awful for lying to Dustin, Wayne Munson and the rest of the gang who came to know Eddie. Ok, not as much actively lying as keeping some facts to himself. Technically not the same thing but it definitely felt like it.
He didn’t tell them he went back once the kids were safe. He didn’t tell them he found Eddie alive – barely hanging in there, but still breathing. Even Robin didn’t know he patched and hid him in a spare bedroom in his house (which, by the way, was conveniently abandoned by his parents).
