When people ask how Jaemin knew he was in love with Jeno, he always says this:
“It was love at first sight,” he sighs, tilting his head back and fluttering his lashes at Jeno, who only studiously looks away. “How could I not immediately want to make sweet love to him, when he was the only guy who looked like he showered in an entire classroom full of total nerds?”
“Stop it,” Jeno grumbles, his fingers picking at the frayed denim of his jeans. There’s a light dusting of pink over his nose and cheekbones, though— Jaemin knows he always, always gets flustered when the topic of Feelings comes up. “Just— oh my god, shut up.”
“Love you too, babe,” Jaemin simpers, and if Jeno just snorts and pretends to be looking at something far more interesting than Jaemin on his phone (which is highly unlikely, since Jaemin’s probably the most interesting person Jeno knows), well, he’s not offended at all.

Coming here, miles away from close-knitted neighbours and chalk adorned streets, is his destiny. He’s bound for greatness and the sky’s merely a limit for him, if he could even call it that. When your name’s etched on bustling cities and bright opportunities, Jeno could care less about Sundays and paper rings.
Not even the word of god could stop him, what more the word of a mortal like Na Jaemin.

“Do you really have to go?” Jeno perused, one elbow propped on their king-sized bed with his head tilted to the side. The silk duvets drape over his long, slender legs, laid in a way that’s so bewitchingly sinful that Johnny nearly couldn't resist.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart,” Johnny pulls on his leather belt, slipping it through his crisp slacks as he turns to his husband with a chuckle, “I’ll be back before you know it.”
Good things don’t last, nothing does. Like the addicting cigarette that Jeno had shared the night with, it disappears into the air away from his grasp without a trace, leaving him on his own. Nothing but a memory left for him to cherish.
To Jeno, nothing is constant. And ironically so, that is the only constant in his life.
Until Jaemin comes into the picture and suddenly, Jeno is finally certain that something other than change is constant in his life for once.
