as if saving the world isn't going to be difficult on its own, fate seems to have decided that it isn't done yet with fallon de riva and lucanis dellamorte, and they have to do it together. everyone is in hell, but it's the hell that they call home.

Mierda, he must have spent far too much time in Venatori hands, if such small gestures were affecting him this much. As if the Shadow Dragon hadn’t stated his distrust and dislike of him in the clearest possible terms.
(Or: Lucanis and Rook don't start off on the right foot. Only, Rook might not despise Lucanis as much as he suspected, and the Crow might be taking a fancy to the surly Shadow Dragon, too…)
