Summary
Noah’s hands were shaking so bad as soon as he heard ‘Action!’ when the final filming of the coming out scene began. The cameras in front and around him would usually float into the background of his mind once he slipped into the role of Will Byers, easy as breathing, but today it felt impossible to escape what he felt like was a scrutinized gaze of everyone present.

Summary
The first time Mike feels something is wrong, he's in a black void of his mind, empty except for water lapping at his feet and Eleven standing in front of him, saying tearful goodbye. She’s telling him she loves him, her eyes begging for him to say it back to her. I love you... it would be so easy to say it - he managed it before, even when the context was different, so why is it still such an impossible word for him? It doesn’t feel right, like his teeth clamp down harder than ever to prevent him spilling the truth that’s been hiding in his heart. The void is in his mind, possibly, and all he sees is the black emptiness around him, and he hopes there aren’t any monsters lurking in the dark, just past their line of sight.

Summary
They were sitting on the couch in Mike’s basement, the D&D minis scattered on the battle ground that was now a map of Hawkins on the table in front of them with tabs and notes stuck to the pages and corners.
At that moment, Mike knew it was finally the high time to face his inner demons, because what if the next moment would be too late and he couldn’t tell Will all that he felt, what he meant to him? It was the only time he could do it.
Mike had to gather the courage and just say it. Saying something he couldn’t before, but now it was what he wanted to do. -

Summary
Despite the nights in Lenora bringing Will more rest than the overwhelming stress to survive through each day in Hawkins had been in the past year, despite all that Will's heart stayed back in that place, in his hometown, in the familiar streets he was racing across on his old bike with his friends, in the school and Mr. Clarke’s class and AV club. Most of all it stayed with his friends. With Mike. He missed them all so much, but he knew that he would always miss Mike the most.

Summary
The memory changed again, but this time Lou couldn’t feel herself floating around, instead her vision was pulled into a different body.
The orange pod was heavy in his arms. Too heavy to bear, not for its weight - that would be the smallest of things he had carried - but for its importance, for its own possible future. He wouldn’t risk opening another pod when all the other kids were dead within a few months, years tops. If Coffin wanted to liberate them, they had to find a different way. But then the UCA bombed its own facility and Amelie told him to take this one and go, before heading west to spearhead her expedition.
This was the one thing she had asked of him. A mission to prove himself, to prove to her he got whatever she needed him to do. That he was worthy of her powers, of her attention, of her love.----
OR: A story of connections - past and present, all tangled up together, forming a possibility of a new future, of healing and redemption, if it won't all drown in tar first.
