Another city. An—“Hey,” Gerard says, intercepting Adam the moment he gets off the stage, sweat plastering his hair to his face, chest heaving as he tries to catch his breath.
The rest of the band clears out of the backstage area, heading towards the green room to grab the last of the beers and sit around for another few hours before it’s time to go, but Adam doesn’t follow them.
Instead, he stops in front of Gerard and says, “Hey.”
