The rest of the band clears out of the backstage area, heading towards the green room to grab the last of the beers and sit around for another few hours before it’s time to go, but Adam doesn’t follow them.
Instead, he stops in front of Gerard and says, “Hey.”

At this point, Adam isn’t sure who started it.
All he knows is that he didn’t start it. It would have been impossible for him to start it, really. It’s not like he put a photo on his Instagram story and tagged himself in it, after all.
This was on whoever - and again, he can’t remember who or even when at this point - posted the first photo and tagged him in it.
Or: Adam - a struggling singer-songwriter - occupies his time by repeatedly sharing posts to his Instagram story. Frank doesn't engage.
