A whine. Another shuffle. Was Rumi squirming?
"I lost track of time. I was- I was late. For my date with Zoey."
Ah, it was one of those sorts of days.
Rumi has a hard time forgiving herself for making mistakes, but that's okay. Mira and Zoey have ways of punishing her.
