Buddy is sick of Juno and Peter's drama on her ship and sends them on a quick mission to sort out their issues. They do, eventually.
OR
Juno takes a moment to reflect on what particular bad choices he made that led to him lying on a dirty concrete floor, dripping wet and shaking and surrounded by people that wanted to kick the shit out of him for fun, and feeling relieved.
After some thought he concludes he’s made too many bad choices to narrow it down, so he goes ahead and blames all of them.

Summary
Logically, he knows that the hands belong to Peter Nureyev, and he knows this because the hands are cool and spidery and gentle in a way that nobody else has ever been with him. And all of this is very nice, but it still doesn't explain why he is here, and Nureyev is there, and his hands smell like carefulness and quiet rather than cologne.
Or, the cologne smell is gone, and Juno is somewhat permanently confused.

Summary
Go to Earth, Buddy said, so that's what the team did. Just a simple trip to secure the necessary repair for their ship and then back to traveling. At least, it should have gone that way, and probably would have - were it not for a misstep involving Juno Steel's fear of heights. And so he found himself lost in a forest at night with only a master thief for company and a difficult conversation ahead of them.
