“Unfortunately,” Zanka sighs, stepping out of his safe zone and back to his station, “I have the design I think you’ll like best. It’ll hurt like hell though, so I suggest numbing cream.”
It’s fruitless and he knows it. Enjin laughs at him from where he’s just finished replacing all their old flowers. “Not a chance,” Jabber says chipperly, “You know damn well I’m hopin’ it’ll hurt, Zan-Zan.”
“And every time,” Zanka growls, pulling up the design to show Jabber, “I pray you’ve gained some sanity.”
Zanka is a simple tattoo artist wanting to do his job. Unfortunately for him, the masochistic florist across the street they order their flowers from is one of his regulars.

And then Till looked over his shoulder, caught Ivan's gaze and held it. "Thank you. I know I'm really late in saying it. But I'm also really, really happy that I still have the chance to say it at all."
Till believed Ivan died sacrificing himself for him. Ivan believed Till died in the fiery destruction of the Alien Stage.
And neither knew that the other survived.
Eight years later, Till has settled into caring for the children he'd rescued from the Alien Stage Museum with the help of the rest of the Rebellion, while Ivan continues working to fulfill what he believes would have been Till's last wish. When they're reunited, they have the chance to say everything they should have said once upon a time and to discover the mutual love that once eluded them. But only if they can overcome all the scars that mark them.

Holy shit. I don't think I've ever gone through this many emotions while reading. I was expecting some slightly unerving action based content, but was met with a very stereotypically "halloween" story in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. The build up and horror of everything is GREAT. and Grand Madeleine is such a striking character in this!! She's not evil, but so desperate she's practically gone insane. Anyway get Espresso therapy bc goddamn he's going through it. Def one of my favs
