    Rex spun around but he was surrounded, droids all pointing their guns at his head.
    He closed his eyes, silently begging his men to run.
    And then.
    Then, the sound that he hadn’t quite become accustomed to.
    A thrum of power and danger.
    The battle droids screamed and Rex opened his eyes to find every single droid high in the air, floating above his head, flailing and screaming. Something launched out of the trees, blue lightsaber flashing.

    Or: Rex definitely does not have a crush on General Skywalker. Anakin definitely does not have a crush on Rex. Ahsoka, Padme, Obi-Wan, and Cody definitely don't have a group chat dedicated to getting the two of them together.
