Pepper PottsNow, this was great for Peter Parker. More than great! It meant that Peter would have something to put on his college applications, and potentially a letter of recommendation, and it meant he would have an actual challenge for once in his life.
This development, however, was not great for Spider-man. Spider-man was being hunted down by the Avengers, which Mr. Stark happened to be a part of. And Peter Parker happened to be Spider-man.
OR: Peter Parker is interining at Stark industries. The spider that bit Peter had a few more effects than it does in canon, including but not limited to: fangs, way worse instincts, and an annoyingly sentient spidey sense

"How many have we lost this time?" Heero asks as Wufei stands in the doorway.
That Wufei hesitates before telling him isn't a good sign, but before Heero has to ask him again, he says, "Thirty-five dead. Another twenty are seriously wounded. At least seven are not expected to make it through the night."
Heero had sent a hundred soldiers after the Eltoo menace that is known only as Shinigami, and this was the result. "How large was his force?" he demands, clenching his hands.
Wufei's posture somehow becomes even more correct. "Reports say it was just him."
"Gather my generals," Heero tells him. "If I have to send a thousand to capture him, I will. And I do mean capture, Wufei. I want him alive."
Bowing, Wufei says, "Of course, Your Majesty."
Heero is going to make that barbarian regret ever raising a hand against Heero's troops.
When the captured Shinigami is revealed to be an omega, all of Heero's plans change.

Summary
The first one to spot the toy is Price. The first one to use it is Gaz.
It goes like this: the 141’s been officially moved into a unit barracks together, individual bedrooms circling a commons with a reasonably-sized bathroom and what could charitably be called a kitchen if you were looking at it sideways. Separate enough from the main barracks and officer’s quarters to be technically private, but definitely more aiming to separate them just that bit more from the usual riff-raff, give them that extra edge of deniability. Not that they mind, those of them that socialize manage to do it plenty besides, and the ones of them that don’t appreciate having a place to sit quietly without interruption.
So when Price first sees the thick tube sitting on the coffee table as he preps for the morning, plastic and shiny and with a little clear strip down the side to see the soft pink insides, he assumes one of his Sergeants was having a little fun the night previous and forgot to clean up after. It’s a pleasant thought to be sure, one he’ll consider for the rest of the day, so he leaves it be.

He does, however, know that its ears are not bleeding; The Ghoul is talking to him, laughing, and, for just a small spark, a quiet tremor, a split-second neuron fire, he knows he's never gonna hear again.
This is how ██████ learns there's no hollow threats in the desert. So, when he starts screaming, shrill and hissing and jaw snapping “I'm going to kill you! I’m going to bash your skull in with a fucking rock!” he follows through. The Ghoul lays on the ground, spitting acid and scratching at █████, but the lights go out as the side of its head is slammed into a pile of stones. He can’t hear it scream - can’t hear the sound of bone crunching or blood splattering or people shouting. This is how Kobra earns his name. A stone to the head.

Summary
Shame isn’t something particularly easy to make a ghoul feel, given their hellish nature. Thus, it should count for a lot that Swiss knows exactly which buttons to press, and what thread to pull to elicit it in Dewdrop.
Somewhere in the tangle of his brain, Dew thinks, eyes wide as Swiss cages him against the wall of his dimly lit room, there are some strange connections. Crossed wires where Swiss’s ability to embarrass him and make him blush register as unforgivably arousing.
Or,
Swiss treats Dew like a pretty little thing and Dew is Very Overwhelmed in the year of our Dark Lord 2022.
