“我们这是要决一死战吗？”他半真半假地问。
“如果我们生在这座建筑建造的年代，”万敌说，“恐怕没有选择的余地。”
他顿了顿，目光落在白厄身上，又补了一句：“但假设真到了那个时候，我大概会与你痛痛快快地打一场。然后祝你常战常胜。”
十几座篝火在四周永不停歇地燃烧，他们的头顶还悬着那把象征灾厄的巨大利刃。这里从来不是歌颂爱与浪漫的地方，它存在的意义，始终与死亡和暴力紧密相连。
偏偏在这个地方，白厄头一次如此强烈地想要单膝跪地。
因为万敌的话语里，早已预设了一个连他自己都未曾察觉的偏心。

You get to… I dunno, yell at me when I mess something up - which, let’s be honest, you love doing - don’t even try to deny it,” Mydei sneers but stays silent, which Phainon takes as a victory. “And as a cheeky bonus,” He continues, throwing in a wink as he puffs up his chest and puts his hands on his hips. “You get to make out with one of the top three most handsome guys on campus… me!”
Mydei stares at him, wearing an expression so twisted Phainon could’ve mistaken it as him finding out he’d stepped in a pile of shit.
