Rumi has rarely had an uneventful sleep cycle in the five months she's been on this earth, but her last few weeks in particular have put the whole household through the ringer. The little thing is far too clingy for her own good.
And thus, Celine Cadieux, international idol sensation, is in a nursery at four in the morning in nothing but her robe, flannel pants and bare feet. She shuffles across the designer rug that covers the floor, mentally re-visiting those curses she had thought up earlier. Summary
Their endurance rides are long, much longer than Dorothea would ever be willing to go on her own. But there’s something wonderful about watching the way Leonie’s suddenly at ease the second they set foot in the forest. Dorothea watches it every time, eyes glued to her partner’s back as her muscled shoulders lose a tension she never realized the hunter had been holding.
It’s encouraging. It’s reassuring.

Summary

Bernadetta turns away, respectfully. They’ve been to the sauna a time or two together, especially back when the war had just started and things seemed to be so much brighter. Now, she’s a bit bashful for reasons she can’t quite grasp. She looks at anything possible to distract her from those thoughts: the window, the calendar on the wall, the jewelry strewn across her dresser. It’s all a bit messy, but the sight at Dorothea’s desk is what finally causes Bernadetta to cry out in alarm.
“Dorothea! What is this?!” she gasps, somewhere between despair and outright horror.

Quiet and steady. Near without overwhelming.
She even smiles in the same way he did. Especially when Mira gets mean. The two of them having taken over one of the guest rooms as the pregnancy had progressed. Mira's old one if she remembers correctly.
Rumi loves like her father.
Celine doesn't know what to do with that.
Somedays Celine has to remind herself that it isn't Sunwoo in her home. That the short hair and patterns belong to his daughter and not the man who never got to raise her. It only happens in the dark. When shadows are soft and Celine can't see purple.
