It was hard not to feel at least some type of way about Roathe.
Roathe snapped the book closed, then delicately placed it down with a thump. He nudged it with his fingers; to the left, to the right, a soft tap on the bottom half so it laid perfectly straight.
“Am I so disturbing a sight?” he asked, with the subtlety of a careening carriage. “Do I disgust you? Is it the skin and the armor, or the tail? Do you fear getting burned and cut?”
