Vetinari continued watching the dancers. “Frankly?”
Vimes hesitated, wondering if he was ready for frankly, then said, “Yes.”
The patrician finally turned back to face him. “As far as you wanted, Vimes.”
Sometimes a tyrant just wants somebody else to make the decisions....but what starts out as a satisfactory form of stress relief gradually turns into something more.
