Summary
“No.” The word escapes Mike’s lips, and it’s barely a whisper. Tears blur his vision, and he turns back around to El, trembling. “N-no, that… that can’t be right… Will… he-he can’t be gone, El; he can’t be dead—”
“Oh, Mike,” El whispers. She reaches up, wiping the tears from Mike’s eyes, and there’s a look on her face—so tender and so, so kind. “Isn’t this what you wanted?”
Her words hit like a bucket of ice water being dumped on him, and Mike recoils, staring at his girlfriend—no, wait, his wife—in horror. “W-what? How… how could you say that, El? How could you say that?!”
Or:
An encounter with Vecna forces Mike to reconsider just what it is he really wants in his life.

“Do it again,” he had said. So Hyunjin did it. He kissed his other cheek and smiled at him.
“So cute”, he said to Seungmin.
He didn’t dwell on what had just happened for a few seconds until he noticed Felix watching them in disbelief.

Summary
Jisung groaned, rubbing his temples. “Hyunjin, you shoved a girl across the floor.”
The table went dead silent. And Hyunjin hears his world was about to crash and burn.
Hyunjin considered himself an observant person. As an art major, he prided himself on his attention to detail– the way light kissed the edges of an object, the subtle hues hiding in seemingly dull colors, the smallest flicker of emotion that could alter the entire essence of a portrait.
And yet.
"A what?"
