he’s already dialed hanbin’s number before the full weight of what he’s about to confess settles on him. hanbin probably won’t even pick up, and hao can just leave a voice mail confessing his sins. unless he shouldn’t? what if hanbin is already asleep, and he has to wake up in the new year to the news that his precious basil child is dead?
hanbin picks up after only four rings.
“hanbin-ah, i have something to confess,” hao cries into the phone. he probably looks utterly miserable from an outsider’s perspective right now, sitting on the curb in the center of campus with tears streaming down his face.
“i killed it.”
or, what (not) to do when you accidentally kill your situationship's basil plant that you were supposed to be taking care of during winter break.
