When Coco reveals that her nightmares seem to dissipate whenever she falls asleep around her, Agott proposes a sort of short-term solution to the other girl's nighttime ailments. Somehow, it becomes more than just a thing to solve a problem, and Agott makes a few realizations along the way.

Agott had begun to notice it without meaning to.
It started with small things. The way Coco’s voice lifted when she was curious, light and eager, as if she were leaning toward something only she could see. The way her eyes softened when she was happy, quiet but unmistakable. The way she stilled when something caught her interest, as if the rest of the world had politely stepped aside for her.
And so… she could tell.
Coco was sad.
So there was only one thing to do—to cheer her up, in her own way.
Though if you asked Agott, she would insist she wasn’t doing it for Coco.
