Summary
After the death of Eleven, Mike and Will find comfort in avoiding their problems by sleeping all the time. Will eventually decides that it's not healthy for them, so he decides to put himself out there and try to meet some new people before moving away for college. Tensions grow and so does Mike's 'need' for sleep, and his 'need' for Will to be there with him, he grows more and more desperate, willing to blur the lines of friendship to keep him distracted.

Akira Fudo lies on the roof of his foster families home in the cold, in the middle of the night. His thoughts eat at him but not as much as Ryo's own thoughts eat him.

“Are you saying you don’t like change?” Akira asked and Ryo looked over at him with a bright look in his eyes as if their brain and thoughts had suddenly become one with the meaning of his speech.
“Close. I understand change is constant and is absolute, I’ve accepted that…” Ryo pulled back and let his legs fall to the roof. He scooted closer to Akira before Ryo leaned his head on Akira’s arm which Akira accepted, “I’m just saying, I’m missing old times… you know, when none of us understood anything and felt constant, lately for me things and feelings feel like they’re changing too quickly for even me to understand but it’s alright. I’ll understand with time, even if humans don’t have that much of that.”
