ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. GOSH THE WAY THE EMOTIONS WERE PORTRAYED SO GOOD.
so many heartfelt moments in here, from the way impulse wanted to be more than just a human, to the entire moments when the demon was in impulse, to the whole thing with impulse and scar after and UGHHH. THE HORNS. THE WAY IMPULSE DOESNT WANT TO SPEAK AND SCAR GETS IT. this was absolute peak!!
would definitely read this again!

June thought Palm Grove Resort was supposed to be their biggest trip together in months. A luxury, remote island off the coast of Australia for four days sounded perfect for her, Ryan, Vonnie, Carmen and McCoy to spend their time. It'd taken so long for them to figure things out, the planning, days of work, everything. Now that everything was all coming together, June couldn't shake the feeling her time there would be riveting.
Or, that's what June had hoped it would be.
