Summary
The situation was completely and utterly intolerable. Jim was finally in Spock’s bed, but apparently he was content to merely cuddle.
Kirk and Spock get into a habit of falling into bed together platonically after dangerous missions. Kirk is perfectly content with the arrangement, while Spock is wondering why there's no sex. Basically the entire story takes place in bed.

Summary
The prompt: Spock purposefully allows himself to be injured during an away mission so he doesn't have to make up an excuse to get out of, or worse yet, still be forced to attend the Enterprise holiday party. Jim stays with him in medbay to keep him company.
Just a note that I’m not going to get to Stanzas’ prompt about the telepathic fields by the deadline but I will get to it eventually!
