Summary
Taash is working through their recent gender discovery, and is eager to share their findings with anyone who will listen. Rook hopes they don't share anything about him in the process.
But, maybe he wishes, in those little inbetween moments, that someone knew him like that. Whether or not that someone is Lucanis is a fact he tries not to dwell on.

Summary
Since moving to Fabletown after the Exodus, you've been skating by on nothing but your charm, sewing skills, and a little DIY testosterone. It's not exactly glamorous.
The tricks you once played in the Homelands gained you more enemies than friends, and as a result you've been framed for a crime you didn't commit. Luckily, the sheriff believes in second chances.

Your whole life has been one long performance. When you're around Bigby, it's like the curtains finally seem to fall.

Summary
“Don't —”
Your plea dissolves into a distressed burble as he catches your throat and forces your head back into the rustling chaos of leaves. The ferrous scent of earth and blood dizzies you.
A bestial growl rumbles through his chest, cracking into a thunderstorm of words that electrify the air. You understand none of it. Your head spins, your ears ring with the fury of his shouting. Each syllable comes with the cacophonic rattle of chains and a pound so hard you feel your brain hitting your skull.
Bam, clang, bam, clang, bam, clang... A terrifying tremor cracks your spine, and you gulp, eyes blind to the world. Darkness devours his face — the blackest shadow silhouetted against the brightest sky.
What a week, huh.
You're a death-worker in a land at war, burying the nameless and honoring the forgotten. Each day bleeds into the next, shadowed by the dread of advancing armies, until you pull from the swamps a dying stranger — massive, chained, with a hole through his stomach. What should’ve been just another soul to lay to rest soon reveals itself as an anomaly.
Is he hope, or doom in waiting?

Bigby glanced at her over his shoulder, one eyebrow raised in weary surprise. Too late, it occurred to Snow that she'd just made a dog joke.

Summary
“I believe the letting go has already begun. My energy is frustratingly unlike myself, and my facial hair is kept not as I would usually like.” He murmurs, reaching up to his mutton chops for emphasis, scratching his jaw a little.
She raises a brow, stepping closer again, tilting her head. He takes this as a sign and meets her back in the middle.
“Geez. How long has it been?”
“Less than a week.”
