And just to twist the knife, while he was on one end of the sofa hunched over his Mac trying to concentrate, Ilya was at the other, bare-chested, shaking out peanuts into his hand and blaring 2 Fast 2 Furious with Cyrillic subtitles on Shane’s flatscreen.
Tires screeched. Bullets popped. Shane watched Ilya tilt his head back and drop some peanuts into his mouth. He gave them all of two chews before swallowing. The totally indigestible peanuts travelled down the line of his beautiful speckled throat. The man was begging for chronic reflux.
