Rosaria is playing host to a royal delegation from Waloed and Clive is over the moon about finally meeting his hero, the Lord Commander, Cidolfus Telamon. Anabella, however, has different plans for him... As he's done with delegations in the past, Clive is assigned the task of seducing the King Barnabas Tharmr to help solidify Rosarian-Waloed relations. It's a job he's done before, one that he's good at, no matter how much he might hate himself for it. After all, if his mother is to be believed, Joshua's safety depends on it.
Imagine his surprise, then, when he approaches the King's chambers and finds not the King, but the Lord Commander instead...
