Ughhh I love this so much and cant wait for more updates past ch 4 (left off 4/2025). One of my favorite tropes - wwx gets resurrected into a woman's body and this time he has even less clues about the reason for said resurrection.
This fic perfectly balances a series of believable, unfortunate events and really lovely characterization. Sweet babby sizhui meets mom-xian for 2 minutes and falls in love!
LQR is skulking around disapproving but also trying to get wwx to eat more!
LXC and JGY fail to get married but succeed in getting it on regardless!
Lan clan disciples are discombobulated and roughed up, lovingly!
The cold springs get a lil hotter with the power of drunk-ji after a solid month of managing to avoid a single convo with his new wife-xian!Ahh I love this fic and its worth rereads even if it doesn't update!

This is in my all time MDZS favorites now. It's just a satisfying, fast paced, plot driven adventure where future (post qongqi pass, pre nightless city massacre) wwx shucks himself to the beginning of the war and proceeds to accidentally/not accidentally whore his way through the enemy lines.
Slutty, silly, sheer costumes? Check.
Lwj in agony and eventually, smug, righteous possessiveness? Check.
Wwx getting to keep all of his family alive and well(wen siblings and jiang siblings and even a very grey madame yu!!)? Check.
Ridiculously romantic yearning and sweet talk between our boys as a treat? Check.
Wen Qing calling wwx and lwj a pair of twinks? CHECK!!
Adding to my ongoing 'everyone thinks wwx is hot' collection!
Just finished my third reread and am still pleased as punch with this whole beautiful work!
