Armand’s fingers closed in his shirt, pulling the fabric tight across Daniel’s chest.
"Be quiet, Daniel. You are impossible to court," Armand snapped. "I have been courting you. I let you drink from my throat. I allowed myself to be filmed with you. I have supported you, touched you, protected you—"
"Oh, that was courting? Could’ve sworn it was vampire onboarding."
The making of Daniel and Armand’s YouTube video, aka Daniel trying very hard to be a Serious Journalist™ while Armand taking his role as director entirely too seriously, a lot of bickering that may or may not qualify as flirting, and a completely normal amount of blood-sharing for sun protection. Partner in crime, definitely, they had the receipts on that one. Partner in eternity. Till death do us part, except no, not quite, that clause had been struck from the contract.
