It was when the battles began (optional and free, not a tournament) that they both saw that the other was alone on the other side of the battlefield, protected by holograms as in the wild areas and the Royale, but in pink. They stared at each other, fighting in their own way — to see who could hold out longer, to see who would approach the other first. In the end Corbeau took a deep sip from his glass of champagne and set it down on a table before circling the field and ending up next to her.

Caspian returns to Lumiose City to find his lost sister who had run away 5 years prior and was taken by Team Flare. When he has a run in with an organization that calls themselves the Rust Syndicate, he becomes indebted to them and forced to take on jobs. What he didn't expect was how close he’d get to their boss, and how much the man would be willing to put up with him.
