my favorite fic to ever exist. my #1
(i think this is my millionth time editing this bookmark but shh....)
anyway. i cannot, in any way, put into words how BEAUTIFUL and RAW this fic is. genuinely........ my heart was RIPPED APART and then SEWN BACK TOGETHER!!!!!!! reading this. insanely talented author sirihans. dude.
the exploration of scara's suicidal ideation and self-harm.... im so happy its js so perfectly crafted i love love LOVEEE it when people talk about scara's depression/suicidal ideation. seeing this being expanded on especially in a fic this good is so important to me. the delve into his deep rooted desire to be human, to have a heart. the period of time in which he IS a human in this fic and does indeed have a beating, human heart, which is ALL he's ever ever ever wanted in his 500 years, just for it to be taken away from him again is just destroying my heart. scara take my heart instead.chapter 19, ei vs. kunikuzushi, will forever be my favorite. no they would not be healed instantly.... their relationship was depicted SO well and it broke my heart. mother and son UGH. my heart hurts so much... and their hug at the end of the chapter? i cried so so so hard.
"and youre the muse i dedicated five years to [...] i solved cases for him, while i slew a god for you." YOU DONT UNDERSTAND. THIS QUOTE KILLED ME.
