One could call them a situationship, but it’s not like either of them were purposely avoiding wanting something more, it was just impossible. Their circumstances were truly, truly laughable. No matter what, Goro Akechi’s destiny was to be away from Ren Amamiya. Whether behind bars, or laughing at him from the afterlife. It was a cruel, sick joke, Ren knew.
