Summary
“She pulls her hair out of the collar, pink waves settling gently down her back. The Uchiha crest is just visible behind the fall of her hair, half-hidden between the folds of the fabric and the cherry-blossom coloured locks that settle over it. He can’t help the words that flit across his brain. Sakura. Uchiha. Sakura Uchiha.
…It sounds good.
Too good.”
_There are a lot of things he loves about Sakura Haruno.
Most of all, her name. Though he wouldn’t mind changing it.

“Oh, come on, Neji.” Tenten yanks the knives from near his hips out of the tree and reaches upward to grab the one closest to his ear. “You’re seriously telling me you’ve never felt butterflies in your stomach?”

Summary
Neji received the news shortly after he returned from his trip to China. He burned Tenten’s note after reading it and scattered the ashes to remove all evidence that it ever existed. For the entire week that followed, his cheeks were dusted with a soft pink hue; Neji claimed it was a sunburn, but his genin knew that something was up by the way he was more stressed than they’d ever seen him. His bizarre behavior continued when Neji announced that he would be moving out of the Hyuuga compound and buying a home.
No one understood why he had been so flustered until Tenten returned to the village as a fully fledged, and unmistakably pregnant, weapon-smith.

Summary
One day, while watching two sparrows build their nest together, Neji realized that he wanted what they had. Not just in terms of freedom to navigate the open skies, but in terms of a lifelong bond of loyalty and companionship. Then Tenten’s image flashed across his mind. Oh no. Oh no, no, no.
Tenten, for her part, stayed a pragmatic, adaptable, observant girl. Even when the most emotionally repressed Genin she’d ever met started stuttering around her, she didn’t do anything. She just waited to see how things would play out.
