Another wave of pain and dizzily Gawain realizes that he is on the ground. He has no recollection of falling; all he can see is Lancelot’s solemn gaze and his wobbling chin, as if Lancelot were on the verge of tears himself.
Somewhere, deep in the heart of Camelot something has been disturbed: Clarent gleams and Mordred’s eyes shine brighter than the stars despite the blood staining his hands, Arthur collapsing like a dying nebula at his feet.

Summary
Sebile and Morgan, two interdimensional sorceresses who continue to break space-time, have a bet on who can get their hands on the elusive, maybe-real, maybe-fake Holy Grail first. The problem? They decide to go about it in a very unnecessary troublesome way by roping in Guinevere, Lancelot, and Gawain and contesting them against Bors, Galahad, and Percival for no other reason than that they simply can and have far too much time on their hands when they're not training their little baby dragon.

Professor Will Graham is a distinguished economic theorist, or as distinguished as one can be considering that only a few years prior he was employed by the FBI and the proverbial ace up Jack Crawford’s sleeve. Eventually, Graham was arrested and convicted of being the Chesapeake Ripper before being sentenced to life in prison at the BSHCI. Freedom came in the form of a new string of murders and the real Chesapeake Ripper’s signature, the delivery of one, Beverly Katz; Will Graham on the other hand, walked out of Quantico and never looked back. That is until Jack Crawford came knocking at his door with Hannibal Lecter in tow.

The words had hung heavy in the air, like smoke but denser, like the fires of hell. Like Guinevere who had sat down in front of the fireplace in her rooms nightly and stroked the fire, the floor cold beneath her knees and feet, and choked on the embers and flint.
