“How’d your date go?” Pansy asks, her back pressed against the wall and her legs wrapped around his waist. He pulls back, leaving a cold spot on her neck where his lips had been.
“You really wanna know?” His eyebrows are furrowed and there’s a glint of hope in his eyes. Something inside of her shrinks.
She swallows but shrugs. “Not really.”
Ron frowns, but she only catches a glimpse of it before he shifts her in his arms, pushing her harder into the wall and returning his lips to her body.
Her nails dig into his shoulder, holding him as close as she could as she tried not to think about how cold everything would be when he was gone.

“Come now,” Sirius continues. “Don’t be too mad at Harry. The poor lad never got a proper youth, did he? No sneaking around, no messy heartbreaks. No…” he waves his now empty hand in the air, as if struggling to find the words to continue with this particular line of defense, “... wild oats, and whatnot.”
“He’ll learn his lesson,” he sighs, reaching up to comb his fingers through his hair, trying oh so hard to hide the fact that he is flexing. He shrugs. “Eventually.”
Something clicks into place in Pansy's mind. The spark of a terrible, terrible idea.
