The wind brought everything to Venti’s ears. Any going-ons, any scandals, Venti found out. And this? This was clearly only a rumour, a lie somebody made up meant to deceive. After all, isn’t it ridiculous to believe that Morax had died during the rite of descension?

A sweep of energy and Xiao disappeared from his seat, reappearing between Zhongli and the table in a half-blink, the tip of his spear between them, nipping a hole in his tunic.
“Yes. Xiao. You named me. You claimed me. For thousands of years I have been yours. I killed for you. Cut down Gods for you. Razed entire nations for you. I have never once refused your command, never once stepped from your shadow, never once asked of you anything.”
Xiao dug the tip of the spear in harder. It was a weapon crafted for a Yaksha, imbued with Zhongli’s own power when he was at his height of it, and now, as close to mortal as he’d ever be, it sank into him almost lovingly, molten gold oozing out around it.
Zhongli closed a hand around Xiao’s, over the slim body of the polearm, but did nothing else. -

You see, normally, whenever Zhongli asked this question, Xiao would appear in the vicinity. After all, his hearing would actually allow him to listen in on the conversation, but he would wait until his cue was given because he didn’t want to disturb others’ chat. Therefore, whenever Zhongli mentioned his name, his conversation with Ms. Verr would usually end here. However, this time, nothing happened.
The silence was too loud. They stared at each other with frozen smiles on their faces.

Zhongli turned his head in the direction of the voice, peering at Childe out of the corner of his eye. “Pardon?”
“When did you realize you were in love with me?” the harbinger clarified. He was sitting next to Zhongli on a bench, leaning back and legs kicked out in front of him. The two of them had taken a stroll through Liyue Harbor, spending the day shopping and enjoying the bustle of the city, hand-in-hand and laughing as they went. They chose to sit on a bench near the docks and watch as the sun set over the ocean to end their day, the dying rays of light turning the water a glittering vibrant orange.
The Geo Archon narrowed his eyes as a small amused smirk turned his mouth upwards. “Hm? What in Teyvet had you thinking of that?”

“I didn’t think..” he started off, wetting his bottom lip.
“Didn’t think what?” Morax asked with a quirked brow. He invaded Diluc’s space, gently pressing his lover back onto the bed and pinning his hips to the bed. “Pretty sparrow, you’ll need to finish your sentence. I am not a mind-reader,” he rumbled, gently prying Diluc’s legs apart and circling his entrance, slowly pushing a finger in.
Diluc groaned, letting his head fall back onto the cushion of pillows. He draped an arm over his eyes, hiding his flushed expression as he turned away, clearly embarrassed. “I didn’t think you would have two of them,” he muttered quietly.
Morax hummed, curling his fingers against the spot that had Diluc’s back shooting off the bed. “So, you follow a rumor of a dragon in the mountains, and you wouldn’t suspect that I, a dragon, possess two of them?”
“I wasn’t expected to get fucked either,” Diluc retorted, his biting tone dissolving into a broken cry.
Diluc follows one of his brother's stories about a dragon dwelling in one of the old caves of Liyue. He gets a lot more than he bargained for.
