It’s just another day at work. You’re in your stupid pink and white striped dress with your stupid little apron and your stupid little pigtails and you’re bored. Your coworkers are around you popping gum and you’re refilling the coffee pot because Gerald is hungover and needs his coffee fix before he leaves to work, and you’re tired.
The bell rings, signalling someone walking in and you drawl out: *welcome to roadside diner, how may I help you today?* and you’re met with a laugh, so you look up and make eye contact with possibly one of the most beautiful men you’ve ever seen.
This man, in a brown leather jacket with stupid sunglasses on and a cologne you could smell from miles away walks up to the counter and asks for a coffee, “darlin’” and you blush you ACTUALLY blush and say “take a seat, sir, your coffee will be with you in a moment.”
