Summary
Dylan Sharp is the shiny new toy at the Zoological Society of London and all the girls have a crush on him. Deryn needs an airtight excuse for why Dylan is romantically unavailable, and Alek gets the brilliant idea of having Lilit write fake love letters to Dylan. When Lilit gets sent to London on a diplomatic trip, the three of them decide to keep the ruse going and Alek discovers the flaw in his plan, which is that it sucks and he hates it.
