Lowering his head to meet the man’s gaze, he found the other had barely lifted his chin. His grey eyes locked onto his once again.
His handshake, to his surprise, was the strongest of them all.
Nor him nor Erwin spoke, at first. Then, sensing the moment passing, he threw the man one of his most rehearsed, wary smiles. “Erwin.”
