Summary
People said that Hawkins was cursed. They weren't wrong.
Dustin called it the Blight. A fast acting virus spread in Hawkins, moving past the town borders and further into the state. Quarantine failed. Order collapsed.
8 weeks after the initial spread, Steve Harrington once again finds himself responsible for teenagers as he drives them cross country to California to safety, out of range of the virus.
OR: Post-apocalypse (for Hawkins, anyway) road trip to reunite with the California gang after an Upside Down related virus devastates Hawkins.
