Summary
A lot of times, Simon felt like he had terrible luck.
He had attained many scars over his years of living. Some from his father directly, some from his own anger and aggression in his younger years, and others from the wars and fights that his father had caused. They painted over his pale skin, leaving ugly bumps and silver and red discolorations. He did his best not to dwell on them. It wasn’t like he could change them, after all.
So yeah, Simon didn't have a great life, but he got by.
When he heard the news of his sudden arranged marriage, he wondered once again if he had done something wrong by the Gods.
Little did he know, this marriage would end up changing his life for the better.

"Get to the Company, turn in the quota," Soap demands, his voice steadier than he feels. "I'll try to find some power to keep my walkie on. Then…if ye can…"

This was absolutely not how Soap imagined this op going. Get in, clear the building, maybe crack a joke or two with Ghost over comms. Easy. Standard. Piece of bloody cake. Instead, he found himself crammed into a tiny broom closet, chest-to-chest with his lieutenant, both of them gasping for air like they'd been shoved into a vice.
