    perfection i have so many feelings about this and its literally all good. the best character study no powers modern au

    finished all of it: this is the the type of story that will stick with my for a long time. it's absolutely beautiful.

    this universe quite literally does not exist without annabeth and percy. the earth keeps spinning because these idiots are together.

    one last note:
    THE FUCKING PARALLELS TO CANON

    also not to disparage the beauty and effort and overall incredible-ness of this fic. the fact that most of percabeth's "moment" or aspects of their characters and relationships don't come out of thin fucking air. like a lot if is already dropped and hinted or shown in rick's books. here, it's fleshed out in a way that wasn't reall possible in the with powers/ canon universe.

    i've read so many au's of different characters. in the fics that take seriously deep dives into the psyches of these characters, it often feels like they're grasping at straws or making something out of nothing. but annabeth and percy, in this fic, are so real and true.

    my entire world has shifted.
