Sapnap's eyes widened in concern for a moment before they flicked over Dream's face, and he relaxed into a relieved heap. "Is this because you finally realized you're super gay for him?"

Summary
Day 3: Flowers
“I promise you. I promise I’ll come back.”
He promises, George thinks wistfully. He promises such a thing- to offer George with his word on something, to uphold it. It’s as if he’s saying that he’ll give the world to him, just for him. But somewhere is the lingering thought in George's mind is that he won't come back. That the cruel war that had riddled their land will take him too, and he will be left aching and worry-worn. George shivers at the thought. Of a life without him.
“You promise?"
That you’ll come home to me?
And as if he heard those unspoken words. Dream beams at him.
“I promise. You won’t even notice that I was gone, my love.”
George lets out a wet and broken laugh at the overly romantic pet name that he associates with his beloved. Dream does so too, before pulling him back into his embrace.
They stay there for a bit. The war can wait.
“I promise I’ll be waiting.”

花吐き病 (Hanahaki disease): a fictional disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when the person they love doesn't love them back. It worsens over time and persists until the victim dies, and it can only be cured if the feelings are returned or by surgery, but they will then forget who the person is.
Dream isn't a doctor - far from it. But when he hacks up a single carnation petal over his bathroom sink, the pale yellow hue stained with blood, he realizes something might be wrong.

Summary
It is without a doubt that Dream and George really do want to see each other to the point of desperation. COVID-19 seems not to be letting down at all, further insisting the travel ban for the next year or two, which means they will not meet for a long long time.
That is, unless, they plan a marriage for the visa, and marriage for the visa technically counts as marriage fraud: a five-year felony. They've joked about it quite a few times, but with the final conclusion that they'll never meet without it, the suggestion is very tempting.
But is it really all just for the visa? The lines are too blurry to tell.
