    “Are you sure you’ve never done this before?” Suguru skeptically asks as Satoru presses sweet little kisses down his cheek all the way to the corner of his mouth.

    Satoru laughs, leaning back to look at him. “I’m sure. So, how am I doing so far?” he asks, eyes gleaming.

    Suguru can’t risk Satoru’s head getting too big, so he says, “Eh, I’d give you a solid ‘B’.”

    Satoru’s eyes narrow in annoyance at that. “I’ve never gotten a ‘B’ in my life.”

    Suguru’s laugh gets bigger, big enough that his arms unfold, and he braces one hand on the counter. When he looks up at Satoru, his eyes are warm and a little wet, the corners still crinkling with his smile. Satoru can’t remember the last time he saw Geto Suguru smile like that.
    “Of course, I remember you,” Suguru says like it’s the simplest thing in the world. “How could I forget you?”"

    Satoru wanders into a new bookstore on his way home from work that happens to be owned by his former best friend who he hasn't seen in ten years.

    He’s hovering over a man, his dark hair loose and spilling over his face and he’s…pinning the man to his bed, one strong hand pressed over the other’s wrists.

    “Fuck,” Satoru wheezes.

    Suguru brings men home and Satoru wonders if, judging by the pangs in his chest and the sudden overwhelming urge to punt these hookups into the sun, he’s homophobic. They figure things out slowly.
