Who would give a shit about that scrap-metal boy from District Six? He was not the District One golden boy, Roger Federer, born with a face worth more than a diamond mine and showered with so many sponsor gifts during his Games that the Gamemakers had to impose a daily limit. He was not Novak Djokovic, forged, sharpened, and steeled in the training academies of District Two, the crown fitted for his head before the canon of his first kill. He was not even in the league of last year’s victor, Iga Świątek, who disguised her genius with nervous, flittering smiles, as dangerous and unassuming as a live wire.
Who was he compared to Carlos Alcaraz, wunderkind? Nobody. He, Jannik Sinner, was going to die.

Summary
Before he was named Harkonnen and long before he was inducted as Na-Baron, he was Feyd-Rautha Rabban, the unimportant second son of an unimportant Count ruling over an unimportant fiefdom. The History of Empire would remember him as the most prolific killer in human history.
At the center of Imperial power, he would encounter another who he was inextricably drawn to. A boy with green eyes and a hawk as his heraldry. A boy that challenged Feyd at every step.
It would be the first but unfortunately not be the last time Feyd-Rautha met Paul Atreides. Were the currents of time kinder, their relation would have ended after that singular meeting. But theirs was a union ten thousand years in the making. The shackles of fate are not quite so easy to break and the Known Universe bled for it.
Or, Feyd is down bad for Paul, Paul is equally obsessed, and everyone else suffers.

And Lewis finally gets it—can't not get it, when just two years ago he'd been in the exact same place; being handed a second-placed trophy that weighed as heavily as it had been worth nothing at all, replaying all the mistakes he'd made throughout the season in his head, over and over and over, thinking about where he could've been faster, where he could've been smarter, where he could've been better; thinking about who he'd lost it to, about how losing it stacked up against all the other things he'd already let slip from out of his grasp.
(or: Lewis wins the Championship; Sebastian doesn't. They both gain more than they ever bargained for.)
