"Oh, so now we're all buddy-buddy after you bashed my fucking head against the window?" V asked, rubbing the scabbed wound on his forehead.
"Hey, wasn't easy for me either. You woke up in a landfill, I woke up in your head, wrestling with your thoughts, memories. Think we're even." V watched Johnny take off his mirrored Aviators as he continued talking. "And I've taken a step back, looked at things… Think we might be able to help each other. We could start with Rogue. Her and I go back to the Stone Age."
"I need eddies before we even think of talking to Rogue. Besides, I don't trust you." V drummed his fingers on the table as his mind drifted to gigs. He could go to the fight with the 6th Street gangoon, but he wanted a few upgrades before doing that. Then there was Delamain and whatever was happening with him…
"Hey," Johnny snapped his fingers in front of V's face. "We need to talk to Rogue."

As the resource war reared its ugly head, Deandra educated her audience on how to stretch limited food supplies, mend clothes, and prepare for nuclear attacks. She was among the first to reserve a spot in a vault and encourage her fellow Americans to do the same. Now, as she lay fixed to a table, she notes that one of her arm restraints is looser than usual, and that the overseer's neck is looking awfully exposed today....
Two cannibals join forces in the wasteland, and a reluctant romance blooms.
(That was my attempt at a hook. This is my first published work, so I am open to and grateful for any constructive criticism.)

Summary
A collection of one shots centred around my Street Kid V and Kerry's relationship and how I perceive both characters during the course of the game, ranging from a bit of plot to mostly smut and posted more or less in a vague order timeline wise. Written over a few months and only just decided to post after wondering how I was going to post them! Title is a reference to "Happy Together" by the Turtles, but my personal favourite is Johnny Panic's version.

Summary
Nile watches as Joe gets to his feet and heads towards Nicky, calling out something to him in Italian. Nile is torn between learning Italian, so that she can know what they’re saying, and feeling like it’s an intrusion on something that she’s not meant to hear. "He's very protective of Nicky, isn't he?"
"You're only noticing that now?" Andy asks wryly.
“It all seems a little bit one-sided, that’s all,” Nile muses. “I've never seen Nicky be as...violently protective over Joe.” Andy just hums, and Nile glances over at her. “You think I’m wrong? I know I haven’t been around long, but I’ve seen Joe get killed in a bunch of messy ways and Nicky has never done…that.”
Andy just hums again. “Look again,” she says when Nile throws her hands up in frustration. “Watch more closely. You’ll know when you see it.”
